The coffee is brewing, I can smell it from the bedroom. I walk downstairs to find my cup prepped (which means the sugar and cream are already in the mug … all I have to do is pour). My husband walks in to the kitchen and gives me a smile that basically says… “so that was a bit uncalled for” and I respond with, “I am perpetually sorry for anything I say to you at 3am, because if I am up at that time it’s probably not good.”
Sleep is one of those funny things, we know we need it, we know it’s important to get a specific amount of it, and we know that the quality of that sleep is important too. But, we don’t really talk about it unless it’s not going well.

As a mom of three, and more specifically the mom of a newborn, sleep is something I’ve been thinking about for a while. Through pregnancy, a whole year of a toddler squeezing his way into the middle of our bed and now the newborn wake-up calls, getting a good night’s rest is something I literally dream about. In addition to the sweet taste of a morning coffee, yup I think about it the night before. And while I might not be getting in the hours of sleep I need right now, I can honestly say that the quality of our sleep has been amazing since we got our new Endy Mattress. There was actually a time while we were trying it out that I woke up without an alarm… before the kids and on my own because I had slept so well.
In addition to the bed being king size, a huge step-up in terms of space from our double, it honestly feels like sleeping on a cloud. It’s the kind of comfy that calls you in the middle of the day for a nap and you miss while you’re on vacation. Yup, we actually own the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on and I really do miss it when we are away. I used to say things, like “oh I wish our bed was this comfy, or this big” while we were on vacation, now I say, “our bed is better” every time we sleep somewhere else.
When we first moved into our new home just over a year ago, the previous owner mentioned to us that even though the master bedroom was spacious, there was no way we would be able to get a king size mattress up the narrow, century-old staircase. We were in love with the details in this century home and the staircase was one of the features we loved most about the house, but let me tell you how disappointed we were to hear this. We finally had the space for a big bed and we weren’t going to be able to get it up to our room.
Well, that was not okay with me and I was determined to find a way to get a king-sized bed up there. That’s where Endy came in. I’d heard about them a few times from friends and fellow bloggers and realized that this was the perfect solution to our narrow staircase issue. The Endy Mattress comes in a small narrow box, so it’s a lot easier to transport or move into your house than traditional mattresses. They offer free shipping straight to your door so once it was delivered we had it up to our bedroom in about five minutes!

So, if you live in a small space, a condo or an older home which happens to have narrow staircases and you don’t think you’ll be able to get the mattress up to your bedroom, this is the perfect mattress for you.
