Hello and welcome to Josephine!

Josephine is a lifestyle blog that explores simple & creative living.  The inspiration for this blog developed out of the creativity that comes from becoming a new parent, Josephine March of Louisa May Alcott’s famous novel, Little Women, a favourite literary heroine and my own desire to write down or document the every day.

Josephine, or Jo March, is a creative, caring, ambitious, thoughtful, unconventional, imaginative and loving woman who finds creativity in every corner of her life and shares these creative ideas with her sisters. As a reflection of her character, this blog is a place to share ideas for creative and simple living. Exploring topics like: baby life (parenting/family), motherhood, baking/cooking, interior decorating, city life, travel and personal stories (features). This blog aims to be a space for creative inspiration where ideas and stories can be shared.

Some of the major projects of this blog are to share the inspirational stories of creative mothers and work with communities to support mothers and families in need through the Holiday with Heart project. In the Features section, a series called Josephine’s Creative Career Mothers will highlight the stories of ambitious mothers who found their way amongst diapers and daydreams to create the life they imagined!  In addition to these posts, a new feature project called Josephine’s Blooming Boutiques will focus on celebrating and supporting up and coming small shops that I love and want to share with all of you.
