It’s finally here!! So, I’ve been planning this gift guide for a while now; thinking about all the Canadian shops I wanted to include and I have to say that it was so tough to choose. And I think it can only mean one thing… nope not the Drake thing (although I do love Drake), it can only mean that the Canadian shopping scene is AMAZING!!!

Over the past four years of blogging I have been so lucky to learn about the Canadian small shop scene and to be completely honest, blogging really opened my eyes. Not only have I become aware of these incredible brands, I’ve been lucky enough to get to know the shop owners and I love that so much! Shopping local and shopping small means your supporting someone’s passion and building a community in the process. This is a huge part of what I’ve been so lucky to experience through blogging and I love that I get to share that with all of you.

It’s taken me a long time to compile this year’s gift guide and because there were so many amazing brands and companies I wanted to share with you I’ve divided it into two guides this year. One for the Mamas (some items could be for the Papas too…) and one for the Minis.

So here it is …

Josephine’s 2019 Canadian Christmas Gift Guide

For the Mamas

(and kinda sorta the Papas)

1. You all know how much I love Loops for Days, Courtney’s work is gorgeous and I’ve been featuring it on my blog since I started four years ago. She makes kids hats and matching ones for mamas and minis.
2. The Love Powered Littles Box Set is the perfect gift for the littles in your life. These affirmations are so lovely and it’s a brand that I’ve gotten to know so well, these ladies are honestly amazing and doing wonderful things! They also make affirmation cards for teens and women.
3. The Kindness is Magic Crew from Mini Mioche is such a wonderful gift idea. I love the saying and I am a huge fan of the Mini Mioche brand. The clothing lasts so long and is so well made. I think this colour is perfect for the holidays too!
4. The Hatley and Indigo Union Suit Pjsare the perfect holiday pjs. I love the colours, great for boys and girls and I’m all about the cute pjs at Christmas time!
5. The Mimitens Panda Mittens. These mittens are adorable and so practical. If you have little ones and you live in Canada you need a pair of good water-repellant mittens, so that fact that these will stay on, keep kids warm and they are adorable makes them kinda perfect!

7. The Wooden Toy Cameras from Little Peg People. I found these at Kind Matter Co(she carries a lot of Little Peg People Products) and our son actually fell in love with them. I love the idea of toys that promote imaginative play so all of our kids will be getting one of these this year!
